The Eastside Eagles smashed the host Morgan County Bulldogs soccer team by a tally of 8-1 in Tuesday's non-league game.
Next, the Eagles face the Cedar Shoals Jaguars (Athens, GA) in a 4A Area 8 game, on Friday, February 28. Eastside will attempt to advance on its 3-1 season record. The Jaguars enter the game with a 4-2 record after their 5-1 non-league win over East Jackson (Commerce, GA).
The Bulldogs (1-1) will now prepare for their game against Jackson (Jackson, GA). The Red Devils enter the 2A Area 2 game with a 2-0 record. In their last game, Jackson held off Fayette County (Fayetteville, GA), 4-1, in a non-league game.
