The Pierce County Bears soccer squad scored 3 points and held the host Fitzgerald Purple Hurricane to 2 in the Bears non-league victory on Tuesday.
The Bears now hold a 3-1 record. They play next when they host Tattnall County for a 2A Area 1 bout on Friday, February 28. Pierce County will play a Warriors squad coming off a 4-0 league loss to Crisp County (Cordele, GA). The Warriors record now stands at 1-2.
With the loss, Fitzgerald moves to 3-2 on the year. The Purple hurricane host Berrien (Nashville, GA) to play the Rebels in a 1A D-I Area 1 bout on Friday, February 28. The Rebels go into the bout with a record of 2-2. Berrien won 4-0 in their recent league bout against Bacon County (Alma, GA)
