In Tuesday's non-league test, the Assumption Mustangs (Napoleonville, LA) softball squad the host St. Amant Gators (St. Amant, LA), by a tally of 8-4.
Next, the Mustangs meet the Houma Christian Warriors (Houma, LA) in a non-league test, on Thursday, February 27. Assumption will attempt to advance on its 4-0 season record. The Warriors go into the test with a 1-2 record after their 17-0 league win over Franklin (Franklin, LA).
The Gators (2-2) will now prepare for their test against New Iberia (New Iberia, LA). The Yellowjackets go into the non-league test with a 1-0 record. In their last test, New Iberia held off Loreauville (Loreauville, LA), 12-11, in a non-league test.
