Texas High School Softball - Freer sneaks past Banquete

The Freer Buckaroos softball team scored 10 runs and held the visiting Banquete Bulldogs to 9 in the Buckaroos non-league win on Tuesday.
The Buckaroos now sport a 2-0 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Dilley for a non-league battle on Friday, March 7. Freer will confront a Wolves team coming off a 16-1 non-league win over San Antonio Memorial (San Antonio, TX). The Wolves record now stands at 9-7.
With the loss, Banquete moves to 2-5 on the season. The Bulldogs travel to Needville (Needville, TX) to confront the Bluejays in a non-league battle on Thursday, February 27. The Bluejays come into the battle with a record of 3-4. Needville lost 7-0 in their recent non-league battle against Foster (Richmond, TX)
