The Salado Eagles edged the visiting Belton Tigers softball squad by a count of 2-1 in Tuesday's non-league challenge.
Next, the Eagles meet the Rouse Raiders (Leander, TX) in a non-league challenge, on Thursday, February 27. Salado will attempt to upgrade on its 7-2 season record. The Raiders enter the challenge with a 2-3 record after their 10-6 league win over Glenn (Leander, TX).
The Tigers (1-6) will now prepare for their challenge against Greenwood (Midland, TX). The Rangers enter the non-league challenge with a 8-6 record. In their last challenge, Greenwood edged Castleberry (Fort Worth, TX), 15-1, in a non-league challenge.
