Texas High School Softball - Mount Vernon bounces Edgewood

In Tuesday's non-league match, the host Mount Vernon Tigers softball team scored a nice 10-0 victory over the Edgewood Bulldogs.
The Tigers (4-1) will now prepare for their match against Bells (Bells, TX). The Panthers go into the non-league match with a 6-1 record. In their last match, Bells gained a win over Ponder (Ponder, TX), 14-7, in a non-league match.
In their next game, the Bulldogs battle the Chisum Mustangs (Paris, TX) in a non-league match, on Thursday, February 27. Edgewood will attempt to better on its 6-4 season record. The Mustangs go into the match with a 1-4 record after their 21-4 non-league win over Paris (Paris, TX).
