In Tuesday's non-league match, the host Lakeside Warriors softball team scored a tight 9-5 victory over the Haughton Buccaneers.

The Warriors (6-0) will now prepare for their match against Northwood (Shreveport, LA). The Falcons go into the non-league match with a 2-4 record. In their last match, Northwood was routed by St. Mary (Natchitoches, LA), 11-1, in a non-league match.

In their next game, the Buccaneers battle the West Monroe Rebels (West Monroe, LA) in a non-league match, on Thursday, February 27. Haughton will attempt to better on its 0-3 season record. The Rebels go into the match with a 2-2 record after their 22-15 non-league loss to North DeSoto (Stonewall, LA).
