The University Cougars softball team scored 28 runs and held the host Jones Fightin' Tigers to 18 in the Cougars non-league win on Tuesday.

The Cougars now possess a 1-2 record. They put it on the line next when they host Olympia for a non-league battle on Monday, March 3.

With the loss, Jones moves to 0-1 on the season. The Fightin' tigers host Ocoee (Ocoee, FL) to confront the Knights in a 7A District 3 battle on Thursday, February 27. The Knights come into the battle with a record of 2-1. Ocoee won 20-4 in their recent non-league battle against West Orange (Winter Garden, FL)
