The Lee County Yellow Jackets softball squad (Sanford, NC), was routed 18-5 in Tuesday's non-league contest with the host Jordan-Matthews Jets (Siler City, NC)

With the triumph, Jordan-Matthews improves its record to 1-0 on the year. The Jets host Northwood (Pittsboro, NC) to face the Chargers in a Mid-Carolina 1A/2A contest on Tuesday, March 4. The Chargers enter the contest with a record of 0-1.

The Yellow Jackets now hold a 0-1 record. They play next when they travel to Union Pines for a Sandhills 3A/4A contest on Tuesday, March 4.
