Louisiana High School Softball - New Iberia bounces Mamou

In Tuesday's non-league match, the host New Iberia Yellowjackets softball team scored a tight 10-3 victory over the Mamou Demons.
The Yellowjackets (2-0) will now prepare for their match against St. Amant (St. Amant, LA). The Gators go into the non-league match with a 2-2 record. In their last match, St. Amant was routed by Assumption (Napoleonville, LA), 8-4, in a non-league match.
In their next game, the Demons battle the Elizabeth Bulldogs (Elizabeth, LA) in a non-league match, on Wednesday, February 26. Mamou will attempt to better on its 3-3 season record. The Bulldogs go into the match with a 1-3 record after their 25-16 non-league win over Washington-Marion (Lake Charles, LA).
