The Metairie Park Country Day Cajuns triumphed over the visiting West Jefferson Buccaneers softball squad by a score of 7-0 in Tuesday's non-league contest.
With the triumph, Metairie Park Country Day improves its record to 2-0 on the year. The Cajuns host East St. John (Reserve, LA) to face the Wildcats in a non-league contest on Monday, March 10. The Wildcats enter the contest with a record of 3-1.
The Buccaneers now hold a 0-1 record. They play next when they travel to East Jefferson for a 5A District 8 contest on Wednesday, March 12.
