The Tamalpais Red Tailed Hawks (Mill Valley, CA) softball nipped the host Piner Prospectors (Santa Rosa, CA), 5-4 in Tuesday's non-league outing.

The Red Tailed Hawks now sport a 1-0 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Miramonte for a non-league outing on Tuesday, March 4.

With the loss, Piner moves to 0-1 on the season. The Prospectors host Analy (Sebastopol, CA) to encounter the Tigers in a non-league outing on Thursday, February 27. The Tigers come into the outing with a record of 0-0.
