The St. Charles Catholic Comets overwhelmed the host St. James Wildcats softball squad by a count of 19-3 in Tuesday's non-league challenge.
Next, the Comets meet the Terrebonne Tigers (Houma, LA) in a non-league challenge, on Saturday, March 1. St. Charles Catholic will attempt to upgrade on its 2-1 season record. The Tigers go into the challenge with a 0-5 record after their 11-4 league loss to Destrehan (Destrehan, LA).
The Wildcats (0-2) will now prepare for their challenge against St. John (Plaquemine, LA). The Eagles go into the non-league challenge with a 2-1 record. In their last challenge, St. John was routed by Parkview Baptist (Baton Rouge, LA), 5-0, in a non-league challenge.
