Spectators at Saturday's non-league battle between the LAMP Golden Tigers (Montgomery, AL) and the visiting Russell County Warriors (Seale, AL), saw LAMP's baseball squad knock off Russell County by a count of 5-1.

Coming up next, the Golden Tigers play the Trinity Presbyterian Wildcats (Montgomery, AL) in a non-league battle, on Monday, February 28. LAMP will attempt to move on its 4-0 season record. The Wildcats enter the battle with a 3-0 record after their 11-0 non-league win over Brewbaker Tech (Montgomery, AL).

The Warriors now possess a 0-3 record. They take the field next when they travel to Reeltown for a non-league battle on Saturday, February 26. Russell County will play a Rebels squad coming off a 10-4 non-league loss to Vincent (Vincent, AL). The Rebels record now stands at 0-3.
