Spectators at Saturday's non-league battle between the Shelby County Wildcats (Columbiana, AL) and the host Long Rebels (Skipperville, AL), saw Shelby County's baseball squad knock off Long by a count of 11-9.

Coming up next, the Wildcats play the Pinson Valley Indians (Pinson, AL) in a non-league battle, on Tuesday, March 1. Shelby County will attempt to move on its 6-0 season record. The Indians enter the battle with a 1-4 record after their 10-0 non-league loss to Arab (Arab, AL).
