In Saturday's non-league game, the visiting Northview Vikings baseball team scored a tight 2-1 victory over the Palm Desert Aztecs.
The Vikings (4-2) will now prepare for their game against Etiwanda (Etiwanda, CA). The Eagles go into the non-league game with a 3-2 record. In their last game, Etiwanda was edged by Bonita (La Verne, CA), 14-11, in a non-league game.
The Aztecs (3-3) will now prepare for their game against Palm Springs (Palm Springs, CA). The Indians go into the Desert Empire game with a 1-4 record. In their last game, Palm Springs tipped Coachella Valley (Thermal, CA), 3-2, in a non-league game.
