The Petersburg Crimson Wave ran past the visiting Phoebus Phantoms basketball team by a final score of 59-51 in Saturday's non-league game.
In their next game, the Crimson Wave face the Hopewell Blue Devils (Hopewell, VA) in a Central game, on Tuesday, March 1. Petersburg will attempt to move on its 19-3 season record. The Blue Devils enter the game with a 15-7 record after their 55-38 non-league win over Park View (South Hill, VA).
With the defeat, Phoebus moves to 13-12 on the year.
