In Saturday's non-league game, the visiting La Costa Canyon Mavericks baseball team scored a tight 4-0 victory over the Paloma Valley Wildcats.
The Mavericks (1-1) will now prepare for their game against Mission Hills (San Marcos, CA). The Grizzlies go into the non-league game with a 1-2 record. In their last game, Mission Hills was overwhelmed by Olympian (Chula Vista, CA), 6-5, in a non-league game.
The Wildcats (2-3) will now prepare for their game against Vista Murrieta (Murrieta, CA). The Broncos go into the non-league game with a 3-0 record. In their last game, Vista Murrieta tipped Poly (Riverside, CA), 1-0, in a non-league game.
