Spectators at Saturday's non-league match between the Saint Francis Lancers (Mountain View, CA) and the host North Salinas Vikings (Salinas, CA), witnessed Saint Francis's softball squad prevail over North Salinas by a count of 15-1.

The Lancers now sport a 1-2 record. They play next when they travel to San Benito for a non-league match on Saturday, February 26.

With the loss, North Salinas moves to 0-1 on the season. The Vikings host King City (King City, CA) to face the Mustangs in a non-league match on Wednesday, March 16. The Mustangs go into the match with a record of 0-0.
