Wicksburg Panthers (Newton, AL) backers exited the stadium thrilled Saturday as they saw their softball squad run past the visiting Pleasant Home Eagles (Andalusia, AL), 15-0 in a non-league challenge.

The Panthers now own a 4-4 record. They take the field next when they travel to Opp for a non-league challenge on Saturday, February 26. Wicksburg will battle a Bobcats squad coming off a 17-2 non-league win over New Brockton (New Brockton, AL). The Bobcats record now stands at 5-0.

With the loss, Pleasant Home falls to 0-3 on the campaign. The Eagles host W.S. Neal (East Brewton, AL) to battle the Eagles in a non-league challenge on Tuesday, March 1. The Eagles enter the challenge with a record of 0-1. W.S. Neal lost 8-6 in their recent non-league challenge against Blacksher (Uriah, AL)
