Hesperia Scorpions (Hesperia, CA) backers exited the stadium thrilled Saturday as they saw their softball squad nip the visiting Chaffey Tigers (Ontario, CA), 1-0 in a non-league challenge.

The Scorpions now own a 3-3 record. They take the field next when they host Granite Hills for a non-league challenge on Monday, February 28. Hesperia will battle a Cougars squad coming off a 15-10 non-league loss to Burroughs (Ridgecrest, CA). The Cougars record now stands at 1-3.

With the loss, Chaffey falls to 2-3 on the campaign. The Tigers host Ontario (Ontario, CA) to battle the Jaguars in a Mt. Baldy challenge on Thursday, March 10. The Jaguars enter the challenge with a record of 2-4.
