The Gilbert Tigers softball team scored 8 runs and limited the visiting Corona del Sol Aztecs to 7 in the Tigers non-league triumph on Saturday.
With the triumph, Gilbert moves its record to 2-1 on the year. The Tigers host West Point (Avondale, AZ) to clash with the Dragons in a non-league game on Monday, February 28. The Dragons come into the game with a record of 1-0. West Point won 6-1 in their recent non-league game against Alhambra (Phoenix, AZ)
