The Homewood Patriots (Homewood, AL) softball routed the visiting Paul W. Bryant Stampede (Cottondale, AL), 13-0 in Saturday's non-league bout.
The Patriots (3-0) will now prepare for their bout against Springville (Springville, AL). The Tigers go into the non-league bout with a 1-0 record. In their last bout, Springville toppled Pelham (Pelham, AL), 12-2, in a non-league bout.
The Stampede now possess a 0-4 record. They play next when they travel to Pleasant Grove for a non-league bout on Tuesday, March 1. Paul W. Bryant will confront a Spartans squad coming off a 26-9 non-league win over Clay-Chalkville (Pinson, AL). The Spartans record now stands at 5-1.
