The Lewisville Lions softball team scored 6 runs and limited the visiting Laurence Manning Academy Swampcats to 3 in the Lions non-league triumph on Saturday.

With the triumph, Lewisville moves its record to 1-0 on the year. The Lions travel to Great Falls (Great Falls, SC) to clash with the Red Devils in a A Region 2 game on Friday, March 11. The Red Devils come into the game with a record of 0-0.

In their next game, the Swampcats clash with the Cardinal Newman Cardinals (Columbia, SC) in a non-league game, on Saturday, February 26. Laurence Manning Academy will attempt to move on its 2-2 season record.
