California High School Softball - Otay Ranch bounces Rancho Bernardo

February 26, 2022: San Diego, CA 92128

The crowd at Saturday's non-league match between the Otay Ranch Mustangs (Chula Vista, CA) and the host Rancho Bernardo Broncos (San Diego, CA), saw Otay Ranch's softball squad nip Rancho Bernardo by a count of 6-0.

The Mustangs now sport a 3-2 record. They take the field next when they travel to Ramona for a non-league match on Saturday, February 26. Otay Ranch will face a Bulldogs squad coming off a 4-2 non-league win over Patrick Henry (San Diego, CA). The Bulldogs record now stands at 1-4.

With the loss, Rancho Bernardo falls to 3-1 on the campaign. The Broncos host San Marcos (San Marcos, CA) to face the Knights in a non-league match on Saturday, February 26. The Knights enter the match with a record of 2-2. San Marcos won 5-1 in their recent non-league match against Ramona (Ramona, CA)
