In Monday's non-league game, the visiting Assumption Mustangs baseball team scored a tight 2-0 victory over the Covenant Christian Academy Lions.
The Mustangs (4-2) will now prepare for their game against St. James (St. James, LA). The Wildcats go into the non-league game with a 2-3 record.
The Lions (5-1) will now prepare for their game against Thibodaux (Thibodaux, LA). The Tigers go into the non-league game with a 3-2 record. In their last game, Thibodaux tipped East Iberville (St. Gabriel, LA), 10-0, in a non-league game.
