The Morgan City Tigers baseball team scored 10 runs and limited the visiting St. James Wildcats to 0 in the Tigers non-league victory on Monday.

The Tigers (2-3) will now prepare for their match against David Thibodaux (Lafayette, LA). The Bulldogs go into the non-league match with a 2-3 record. In their last match, David Thibodaux was overwhelmed by Centerville (Centerville, LA), 13-2, in a non-league challenge.

With the defeat, St. James falls to 1-3 on the season. The Wildcats host John Ehret (Marrero, LA) to encounter the Patriots in a non-league challenge on Tuesday, February 27. The Patriots come into the challenge with a record of 2-3. John Ehret won 21-10 in their recent non-league challenge against Thomas Jefferson (Gretna, LA)
