The St. Augustine Purple Knights crushed the visiting Port Barre Red Devils baseball team by a count of 15-3 in Monday's non-league bout.
The Purple Knights now possess a 3-3 record. They take the field next when they travel to Ascension Catholic for a non-league bout on Monday, March 4.
Next, the Red Devils face the Eunice Bobcats (Eunice, LA) in a non-league bout, on Tuesday, March 5. Port Barre will attempt to move on its 0-5 season record. The Bobcats enter the bout with a 3-2 record after their 32-2 non-league win over Mamou (Mamou, LA).
