Pershing Doughboys (Detroit, MI) backers were in high spirits Monday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the visiting Hazel Park Vikings (Hazel Park, MI), 67-65 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Pershing upgrades its record to 12-8 on the season. The Doughboys host Lincoln (Warren, MI) to clash with the Abes in a non-league bout on Wednesday, February 28. The Abes go into the bout with a record of 17-4. Lincoln lost 59-56 in their recent non-league bout against Grosse Pointe South (Grosse Pointe, MI)
