In Monday's non-league match, the visiting Gilbert Yellowjackets basketball team scored a good 55-43 triumph over the Old Lyme Wildcats.
In their next game, the Yellowjackets meet the Classical Magnet Gladiators (Hartford, CT) in a non-league match, on Thursday, February 29. Gilbert will attempt to better on its 16-5 season record. The Gladiators enter the match with a 11-7 record after their 50-36 non-league win over Norwich RVT (Norwich, CT).
With the defeat, Old Lyme moves to 6-15 on the year.
