The crowd at Monday's non-league game between the Newport Harbor Sailors (Newport Beach, CA) and the host Portola Bulldogs (Irvine, CA), saw Newport Harbor's lacrosse team achieve victory over Portola by a margin of 9-3.

The Sailors (1-0) will now prepare for their game against Trabuco Hills (Mission Viejo, CA). The Mustangs enter the non-league game with a 0-1 record. In their last game, Trabuco Hills was overwhelmed by El Dorado (Placentia, CA), 10-2, in a non-league game.

The Bulldogs (0-1) will now prepare for their game against Beckman (Irvine, CA). The Patriots enter the game with a 2-2 record.
