    • California High School Softball - Scripps Ranch bounces Otay Ranch

    February 26, 2024: Chula Vista, CA 91913

    Spectators at Monday's non-league match between the Scripps Ranch Falcons (San Diego, CA) and the host Otay Ranch Mustangs (Chula Vista, CA), witnessed Scripps Ranch's softball squad prevail over Otay Ranch by a count of 10-2.

    The Falcons now sport a 1-0 record. They play next when they host Steele Canyon for a non-league match on Friday, March 1. Scripps Ranch will meet a Cougars squad coming off a 14-1 non-league win over West Hills (Santee, CA). The Cougars record now stands at 2-0.

    With the loss, Otay Ranch moves to 0-1 on the season. The Mustangs host Eastlake (Chula Vista, CA) to meet the Titans in a non-league match on Thursday, February 29. The Titans go into the match with a record of 2-0. Eastlake won 6-3 in their recent non-league match against West Hills (Santee, CA)
