Franklin County Lions (Carnesville, GA) fans were thrilled Monday as they observed their soccer team knock off the host White County Warriors (Cleveland, GA), 3-1 in a non-league challenge.

Next, the Lions confront the North Hall Trojans (Gainesville, GA) in a non-league challenge, on Friday, March 1. Franklin County will attempt to better on its 6-0 season record. The Trojans enter the challenge with a 1-9 record after their 8-0 non-league loss to Lumpkin County (Dahlonega, GA).

The Warriors now have a 1-3 record. They take the field next when they host Wesleyan for a 3A Area 7 challenge on Friday, March 1. White County will confront a Wolves team coming off a 3-0 league win over Pickens (Jasper, GA). The Wolves record now stands at 5-0.
