Valley Academy of Arts & Sciences Vipers (Granada Hills, CA) backers exited the stadium thrilled Monday as they saw their softball squad nip the visiting Community Charter Titans (Lakeview Terrace, CA), 6-1 in a non-league challenge.

The Vipers now own a 1-0 record. They take the field next when they host Van Nuys for a non-league challenge on Thursday, February 29. Valley Academy of Arts & Sciences will battle a Wolves squad coming off a 13-10 non-league win over Monroe (North Hills, CA). The Wolves record now stands at 1-0.

With the loss, Community Charter falls to 1-1 on the campaign. The Titans travel to Jordan (Los Angeles, CA) to battle the Bulldogs in a non-league challenge on Friday, March 1. The Bulldogs enter the challenge with a record of 0-0.
