Pope John Paul II Jaguars (Slidell, LA) backers exited the stadium thrilled Monday as they saw their softball squad achieve victory over the visiting De La Salle Cavalier (New Orleans, LA), 15-4 in a non-league challenge.

The Jaguars now own a 4-4 record. They take the field next when they travel to Haynes Academy for a non-league challenge on Wednesday, February 28. Pope John Paul II will face a squad coming off a 19-2 non-league win over Cabrini (New Orleans, LA). The record now stands at 5-1.

With the loss, De La Salle falls to 1-4 on the season. The Cavalier travel to Willow (New Orleans, LA) to meet the Lions in a 4A District 9 battle on Tuesday, March 5. The Lions go into the battle with a record of 2-0.
