The Indians now sport a 3-2 record. They take the field next when they travel to Palestine for a non-league match on Friday, March 1. Douglass will face a Wildcats squad coming off a 14-11 non-league win over Cayuga (Cayuga, TX). The Wildcats record now stands at 6-6.

With the loss, Nacogdoches falls to 7-1 on the campaign. The Dragons travel to Timpson (Timpson, TX) to face the Bears in a non-league match on Thursday, February 29. The Bears enter the match with a record of 2-2. Timpson won 4-3 in their recent non-league match against Jefferson (Jefferson, TX)
