The Magnolia Panthers (Magnolia, AR) softball routed the visiting Prescott Curley Wolves (Prescott, AR), 12-2 in Monday's non-league bout.
The Panthers (1-0) will now prepare for their bout against Hamburg (Hamburg, AR). The Lions go into the 4A Region 8 bout with a 1-0 record. In their last bout, Hamburg toppled Downsville (Downsville, LA), 16-0, in a non-league bout.
The Curley Wolves now possess a 0-1 record. They play next when they travel to Gurdon for a non-league bout on Wednesday, February 28. Prescott will confront a Go-Devils squad coming off a 6-3 non-league loss to Glen Rose (Malvern, AR). The Go-Devils record now stands at 0-1.
