Arizona High School Softball - Sunnyside bounces Rio Rico

The crowd at Monday's non-league match between the Sunnyside Blue Devils (Tucson, AZ) and the visiting Rio Rico Hawks (Rio Rico, AZ), saw Sunnyside's softball squad achieve victory over Rio Rico by a count of 16-0.

The Blue Devils now sport a 1-0 record. They take the field next when they travel to Catalina Foothills for a non-league match on Tuesday, March 5.

With the loss, Rio Rico falls to 0-2 on the campaign. The Hawks travel to Nogales (Nogales, AZ) to face the Apaches in a non-league match on Tuesday, February 27. The Apaches enter the match with a record of 0-3. Nogales lost 14-0 in their recent non-league match against Sahuarita (Sahuarita, AZ)
