California High School Baseball - Burroughs wallops Academy of Careers & Exploration

The Burroughs Burros (Ridgecrest, CA) baseball trounced the host Academy of Careers & Exploration Eagle (Helendale, CA), 29-5 in Wednesday's non-league challenge.

The Burros now own a 4-0 record. They take the field next when they travel to Palmdale for a non-league challenge on Friday, February 28. Burroughs will clash with a Falcons team coming off a 15-6 non-league loss to Apple Valley (Apple Valley, CA). The Falcons record now stands at 0-5.

With the defeat, Academy of Careers & Exploration drops to 1-4 on the year. The Eagle travel to University Prep (Victorville, CA) to clash with the Jaguars in a non-league challenge on Thursday, March 6. The Jaguars go into the challenge with a record of 4-1.
