North Carolina High School Baseball - Alleghany sneaks past Bishop McGuinness

In Wednesday's non-league game, the visiting Alleghany Trojans baseball team scored a close 7-6 victory over the Bishop McGuinness Villains.

The Trojans (1-0) will now prepare for their game against Surry Central (Dobson, NC). The Golden Eagles enter the non-league game with a 1-0 record. In their last game, Surry Central held off Mount Airy (Mount Airy, NC), 11-1, in a non-league game.

Next, the Villains face the Thomasville Bulldogs (Thomasville, NC) in a non-league game, on Friday, February 28. Bishop McGuinness will attempt to improve on its 0-1 season record. The Bulldogs enter the game with a 0-2 record after their 19-7 non-league loss to Starmount (Boonville, NC).
