In Wednesday's non-league game, the host Alpharetta Raiders baseball team scored a close 7-6 win over the Peachtree Ridge Lions.
The Raiders (3-4) will now prepare for their game against North Gwinnett (Suwanee, GA). The Bulldogs go into the non-league game with a 5-0 record. In their last game, North Gwinnett nudged Lambert (Suwanee, GA), 2-0, in a non-league game.
Next, the Lions play the Stony Brook Bears (Stony Brook, NY) in a non-league game, on Thursday, February 27. Peachtree Ridge will attempt to improve on its 5-5 season record. The Bears go into the game with a 2-0 record after their 10-3 non-league win over Druid Hills (Atlanta, GA).
