North Carolina High School Baseball - Ardrey Kell defeats Hopewell

The Ardrey Kell Knights baseball team scored 8 runs and held the host Hopewell Titans to 1 in the Knights non-league win on Wednesday.

The Knights now own a 1-1 record. They take the field next when they host Asheville for a non-league test on Saturday, March 1. Ardrey Kell will play a Cougars team coming off a 12-2 non-league loss to Providence (Charlotte, NC). The Cougars record now stands at 0-2.

With the defeat, Hopewell drops to 1-1 on the year. The Titans travel to Berry (Charlotte, NC) to play the Cardinals in a non-league test on Monday, March 3. The Cardinals go into the test with a record of 1-1. Berry won 7-5 in their recent non-league test against West Charlotte (Charlotte, NC)
