The Lake Norman Wildcats (Mooresville, NC) baseball trounced the visiting Ballantyne Ridge Wolves (Charlotte, NC), 6-0 in Wednesday's non-league challenge.
The Wildcats now own a 1-0 record. They take the field next when they travel to South Mecklenburg for a non-league challenge on Thursday, February 27.
With the defeat, Ballantyne Ridge drops to 0-2 on the year. The Wolves host Parkwood (Monroe, NC) to clash with the Wolf Pack in a non-league challenge on Friday, February 28. The Wolf Pack go into the challenge with a record of 0-2. Parkwood lost 8-0 in their recent non-league challenge against Sun Valley (Monroe, NC)
