Arizona High School Baseball - Higley held off by Boulder Creek

Boulder Creek Jaguars (Anthem, AZ) fans left the game pleased Wednesday as they observed their baseball squad achieve victory over the host Higley Knights (Gilbert, AZ), 3-1 in a non-league match.

With the triumph, Boulder Creek advances its record to 1-0 on the season. The Jaguars host Red Mountain (Mesa, AZ) to battle the Mountain Lions in a non-league match on Thursday, February 27. The Mountain Lions come into the match with a record of 0-1. Red Mountain lost 6-3 in their recent non-league match against Hamilton (Chandler, AZ)

The Knights now have a 0-1 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Notre Dame Prep for a non-league match on Thursday, February 27. Higley will battle a Saints squad coming off a 11-9 non-league loss to St. Mary's (Phoenix, AZ). The Saints record now stands at 0-1.
