North Carolina High School Baseball - Porter Ridge defeats Central Academy

The Porter Ridge Pirates baseball team scored 14 runs and held the host Central Academy Cougars to 6 in the Pirates non-league win on Wednesday.
The Pirates now own a 2-0 record. They take the field next when they travel to Richmond for a non-league test on Friday, February 28. Porter Ridge will play a Raiders team coming off a 4-0 non-league loss to Marvin Ridge (Waxhaw, NC). The Raiders record now stands at 0-1.
With the defeat, Central Academy drops to 0-1 on the year. The Cougars host Langtree Charter Academy (Mooresville, NC) to play the Lions in a non-league test on Thursday, February 27. The Lions go into the test with a record of 0-0.
