The crowd at Wednesday's non-league battle between the Eastern Alamance Eagles (Mebane, NC) and the visiting East Chapel Hill Wildcats (Chapel Hill, NC), saw Eastern Alamance's baseball team get by East Chapel Hill by a tally of 1-0.
The Eagles (2-0) will now prepare for their battle against Grimsley (Greensboro, NC). The Whirlies enter the non-league battle with a 0-2 record. In their last battle, Grimsley was tipped by East Forsyth (Kernersville, NC), 11-2, in a non-league battle.
Next, the Wildcats face the Person Rockets (Roxboro, NC) in a non-league battle, on Tuesday, March 4. East Chapel Hill will attempt to upgrade on its 0-2 season record. The Rockets enter the battle with a 2-1 record after their 14-9 non-league loss to Jordan (Durham, NC).
