Georgia High School Baseball - St. Francis loses to Mount Vernon

The St. Francis Knights baseball squad (Alpharetta, GA), was overwhelmed 8-3 in Wednesday's league contest with the visiting Mount Vernon Mustangs (Atlanta, GA)
With the triumph, Mount Vernon moves its record to 5-1 on the season. The Mustangs host Mount Paran Christian (Kennesaw, GA) to confront the Eagles in a 1A D-I Area 5 contest on Saturday, March 15. The Eagles come into the contest with a record of 3-3.
The Knights now possess a 1-5 record. They put it on the line next when they host Mt. Bethel Christian Academy for a non-league contest on Thursday, February 27. St. Francis will confront a Eagles squad coming off a 15-9 non-league win over Lithia Springs (Lithia Springs, GA). The Eagles record now stands at 2-2.
