Florida High School Baseball - Spanish River nips Royal Palm Beach

The Spanish River Sharks baseball team scored 6 runs and held the host Royal Palm Beach Wildcats to 5 in the Sharks non-league win on Wednesday.

The Sharks now own a 5-1 record. They take the field next when they host Park Vista for a 7A District 13 test on Thursday, February 27. Spanish River will play a Cobras team coming off a 16-0 league win over Santaluces (Lantana, FL). The Cobras record now stands at 4-2.

With the defeat, Royal Palm Beach drops to 4-4 on the year. The Wildcats host Forest Hill (West Palm Beach, FL) to play the Falcons in a non-league test on Friday, February 28. The Falcons go into the test with a record of 5-4. Forest Hill won 12-6 in their recent non-league test against Olympic Heights (Boca Raton, FL)
