In Wednesday's non-league game, the host Whiteville Wolfpack baseball team scored a nice 11-1 win over the Wallace-Rose Hill Bulldogs.
The Wolfpack (1-0) will now prepare for their game against New Hanover (Wilmington, NC). The Wildcats go into the non-league game with a 1-0 record. In their last game, New Hanover knocked off Croatan (Newport, NC), 11-1, in a non-league game.
Next, the Bulldogs play the Heide Trask Titans (Rocky Point, NC) in a non-league game, on Friday, February 28. Wallace-Rose Hill will attempt to improve on its 0-2 season record. The Titans go into the game with a 0-1 record after their 11-6 non-league loss to Hobbton (Newton Grove, NC).
