In Wednesday's non-league contest, the visiting Powers Catholic Chargers basketball team scored a big 65-38 win over the Brandon Blackhawks.

The Chargers (20-2) will now prepare for their contest against Kearsley (Flint, MI). The Hornets come into the non-league contest with a 16-7 record. In their last contest, Kearsley was trounced by Goodrich (Goodrich, MI), 61-40, in a non-league contest.
